The University of South Carolina’s annual Open Book Series is sponsored by USC’s College of Arts and Sciences. It is a literary series, public course, and community read all in one.
Author appearances run 6-7 p.m., including time for questions. Author visits conclude with a book-signing reception at 7 p.m.

From 23rd to 27th June, Taobuk Festival will investigate the change that revolutions generate within each of us: the small and individual ones in our daily lives as the epochal and collective ones that remain in the history books. These are revolutions that spring from a relentless need to go beyond, to write again one’s own destiny.

Elizabeth Strout will be awarded the Taobuk Award for Literary Excellence during the Festival Opening Ceremony on June 23rd.
Important international personalities will gather on the stage of the Teatro Antico and in the most charming locations of Taormina for the eighth edition of the Festival, transforming the city into an open-air lounge of literature and arts.

The 2017/2018 Author! Author! literary series brings four award-winning authors to Central Oregon to share their books and engage audiences in discussions regarding their work.
The Library Foundation’s Author! Author! literary series expands the literary landscape of Central Oregon, improves literacy in the region, and strengthens community dialogue.

The Kratz Center for Creative Writing at Goucher College proudly presents Pulitzer Prize winner Elizabeth Strout for two events on October 17, 2017.
In the afternoon, the author will give a presentation called, "Why You Don't Need To Worry About Plot” in the Soper Room of the Julia Rogers Building at 3:00pm.
In the evening, Ms. Strout will read from and sign copies of her brand new novel, Anything Is Possible, which was written in tandem with her bestseller My Name is Lucy Barton. Anything is Possible draws on the lives of the small-town characters evoked in the discussion between Lucy and her mother. The evening event will begin at 8:00pm in Kraushaar Auditorium.
